Well, I have made the choice to give up this life. I've tried before but it never worked. Now I am committed and have a plan.

I am not judging anyone's choices. If using SPs,MPs or SCs works for you, then great for you. I actually think it can be harmless in many cases and I am certainly in no position to cast stones.

For me, the visits to SPs, the SCs and the porn were just too damaging to my psyche. Plus, for a few minutes of pleasure, I was always racked with guilt and spent nights awake fearing that I had caught something and passed it along to my SO (which never happened by the way). Now with this falconhawk thing, my fears would be even worse.

One thing that helped is when I realised that this was just an extension of a sexual/porn addiction I have. I found that I was helped by the support board at

I Think everything in moderation.

If your in a relationship then visits to MPs/SPs aren't necessarily ok if she is in the dark about your hobby. Because your girlfriend/wife didn't sign on for the risks of your hobby and possibly catching a STD.

I have come to realise even MP visits have risks. I have seen MP's who do russian then just do a quick wipe of off, and off to the next client. I can say what she did with the following guy, but God know how many people she can see in a day and there is still the slight possibly body fluid residue being passed on to the next person. Its a slight possibly but still there.

Personally the amount of money I spend on this hobby is my biggest concern.
$240-300 a month is alot. Even yesterday I saw a sale on a TV and said I could have had that instead of 60min of MP time I had earlier......

I am reading this thread, and starting to wonder myself.....is it worth it? I am only an MP guy, but are there risks?? other than the obvious risks to my wallet? Is a HJ or Russian that risky? What about the towels on the bed? What about a little hand roaming here or there? What do you guys think? What about the moral repercussions? Is this an issue for many guys?? I am serious, and would like to hear what you have to say. I have never questioned my once or twice a month visit to an MP....and have shared many reviews on this board.....but is it healthy? is it worth it? Discuss......

Massage is pretty safe

I've been visiting MPs for about 30 years and I haven't even caught a cold (which is surprising considering I'm lying naked on that table and some of the rooms are not well heated).

Most STDs need a warm moist place to thrive - vagina, anus and mouth are just about perfect and bare skin much much much less so. I've never been worried about a hand job or Russian.

However a couple of times I've had a BBJ, it just kind of happened really fast and afterward I was totally freaked out for weeks afterward.

It just blows my mind that people post here actually looking for unprotected sex as if it's a big plus for an SP. Hmmm. Well, not in my book, guys. Don't confuse risk with being simply hillbilly stupid.

Faceblaster, if you feel that your involvement with this business -- or with anything! -- has been damaging to your psyche, then by all means, you need to quit.

This industry is supposed to exist for the purposes of enjoyment, relaxation, pleasure, recreation. If, for whatever reason, it's not working out that way for you, then it's not for you.

It's sort of like ice cream or cookies. Myself, I can eat some, enjoy it, and then leave it alone for days, weeks, months. But sadly, I have friends who cannot stop until the carton of ice cream, the tin of cookies, the bag of potato chips or whatever is gone. That's not to say that I'm x-ray thin -- but my curves come from eating (and enjoying!) well-balanced meals.

There's nothing in this world that can't be done to excess or obsession -- even those things that we think of as being the most healthy. Think of Howard Hughes in his latter years, shuffling around with boxes on his feet, his nails unclipped, terrified of germs.

With everything we do, there must be a healthy balance. And you are to be commended for recognizing when your balance is not healthy and looking for something better for you.

For those who are interested, there is an excellent book called "Out of the Shadows: Understanding Sexual Addiction" by Dr. Patrick Carnes. Its a fairly quick read but quite informative for those of us in this hobby.

something in Dear Abby in the sun today.. fellow quit porn after seeing a shrink with his wife. wife ended up sticking with him and he's quit his addiction.. =) good for him.
