Hey everyone

I debated posting this, but I believe ladies need to be warned in case he does come back on the scene. Also in case there are other victims that wish to come out.

A girlfriend of mine arrived for a shoot yesterday at this photographer's location. Police was on site; told her something bad had happened. Of course, she and I were both a bit worried.

This was the notice on the Toronto Police website this morning, as forwarded to me by another industry lady:

He either wants to "Exchange" services and when that dosen't work he tries to get a lot more then the price quoted on his "models" contract..
I've been trying to get my pics for 11 monthes from him...
He claimed he was going to post them all over the internet unless I gave him an additional 1500, then 3000, then 5000...
I have tried to contact Ms. Femme Fatal for new pics, hopefully she gats back to me soon...
After a year of this guy blackmailing me I would just prefer to move on with a woman....
Funny anther lady recommended him to me and had no PROBLEMS AT ALL!!!
SAD VERY SAD!!!!

No reputable photographer will exchange a shoot for services. It's just not professional. That's your first warning.

We have a number of good photographers on this site. Both male and female. Stay safe and stay with them.

I did my first Indy shots with him. He relentlessly pushed alcohol on me and also tried to exchange services. I got the creeps from him immediately after meeting him and trusted my gut. I can also see how an impressionable, eager to please newbie could easily get caught in the trap he's set. I bet there are many, many more stories like this that haven't been reported. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I have heard from a few girls that he was pushing alcohol. Some girls were ok with it, but got to know why he is pushing the alcohol. There is no photography related reason to be drinking before a photo shoot.

On a separate note, Some guy is sending out photography spam, and saying he is related to my site. He is not in any way related to my site, and I'm not sending out any spam. His is using a hotmail account, says his name is Moe.

Report him. If people ignore/accept him, he will keep on doing it. Simple.

This type of creep gives honest photographers a bad name.

"pushed alcohol on me and also tried to exchange services". No real photographer will serve alcohol or try to exchange services. This should put up a big red flag to the model.

persian princess you should at least put in an anonymous tip. It could save other ladies a ton of problems.

Let's hope he gets put away for a long while.

I was at an open model shoot many years ago and this guy convinced a girl that she needed to be rubbed down with oil, and he was the one to do the full body rub down.

No reputable photographer would do this. Another red flag should have gone up. Common sense should really be heeded.

A model should never have to be touched except for the occasional move of the hand, leg or foot. Anything else happens I suggest the model leave.

Cupid's severed contact with Doug Shimizu several months ago for unrelated reasons. We don't know anything about the case but will cooperate with police should they want our assistance. As a result of these allegations we are re-shooting all of his photographs in the coming week as we want no association between us and him. We hope the victim(s) are able to recover.
