Justin (Jay) Pellicore was a low grade, low life scumbag. I should know -I know this douche. It wasn't a surprise to find out someone finally capped him. He was a low level E dealer who has done time in the past and was "known to the police". The city isn't going to the dumps -this guy has done an admirable job of peddling dope to kids for years (since his teens). Somehow I personally don't find this tragic. A child born with cancer -tragic. This case, I figure either occupational hazard or payback.

Personally...if what you say is true...
I abhor the random violence that strikes and harms the innocent. I detest the way some have taken to intimidation of the larger collective (the TTC Bus incident would be a good example...I've often wished I was wealthy enough to fund my own investigation and justice for that one...)
But if what you say here is true, along with the quoted news article above, this was neither random nor was he innocent.
It is the nature of the beast.
Well run and efficient criminal enterprises do not commit acts of random violence. It draws the attention of the police, which makes it more difficult to do what these enterprises exist to do...make money.
No, if what you say / the news article says is true, then this guy had it coming. I shed no tear.
