We don't mind the requirement that we sign-in before we browse. In fact, it makes posting easier. (We may see a lot more "me too" or "I agree" posts, but what the heck.

SUGGESTION:

could the administrators move the sign-in field farther up the home page. It's a small thing, but scrolling down every time is an unnecessary step. We want to avoid carpal tunnnel syndrome -- that's why we go to massage parlours.

Sheik:

Since the update may be quite some time in the future and the continuing scrolling to the bottom being a daily event for many members, I am wondering if Terb admin is prepared to cover visits to MP's in the event that members end up with carpal tunnel syndrome? :D

Regards.

vbull which is the program that we use for the board concept only has the sign in at the bottom on the current version that we use. I believe TERB admin will be upgrading the software sometime in the next while. The newest version allows for the sign in to be set at the top of the page as opposed to the bottom.
Something puzzels me -

Everybody knows vBulletin sucks, so why doesn't some enterprising young nerd come up with a new bulletin board system?

If you click on the User CP button, a login appears in the middle of your screen. If you then subscribe to all the forums, you can avoid the scrolling.

That's right USERCp allows you to sign in or while in lurker mode click on NEW TOPIC or SEARCH button and you'll be prompted to sign in.
