Ok folks, Manoah is pitching tomorrow night against the Red Sox. Let's post our predictions regarding how long he will last. I say 3 and 1/3 innings. The winner gets a free beer at the Potatohead Pub.

I'll say he lasts 3 2/3.....Hope it's more though.

Red Sox are 4th in the majors in team batting avg so this could get messy.

I‘ll say he does not make it out of the first inning.

Actually, with the weather forecast for Boston he might not make it past the warm up.

Jesus That's not much confidence.....
His last outing seemed like he was narrowly avoiding disaster almost every inning…and then with his last pitch he hit Taylor Ward in the face. He has struggled all season; I think he’s due for a 1st inning collapse.

I’m not happy about it but I think Manoah is going to wind up pitching from the bullpen.

☹

I really want him to go 6+ innings but my gut is telling me 3 something. Both 3 inning options have been selected already so I'll have that beer at home....wether my hunch plays out or not

Nice outing for Manoah.

He went 6 and 2/3 innings and left the game with a 6-3 lead.

My prediction of a 1st inning collapse was completely wrong…LOL…Glad to see AM pitching better. His fast ball was up around 95 mph.

If the Jays are to have any shot at holding onto a wild card spot they need Manoah to be pitching more consistently at this level.

Always play your gut and your microbiome.

Manoah had a strong outing against stiff opposition in hostile territory.

Let's see if they can close this one without you guys favourite closer Romano.

20 outs. 5 outs over what they were probably hoping for as an average start from Manoah.

That's the key number there given that we are only running 7 relievers due to the 6 man rotation. Its important that we keep bullpen "outs" down so we can keep them in effective roles during this stretch, Those extra 5 outs really help in that regard, and any extra outs over expeted over the next week.

Schneider's bullpen mgmt is not great to begin with, and once we add tired arms to the equation it becomes more of an issue.

AND.........he got good run support early.

His best outing since his return if not for the whole season.

I like Alek, but TBH, regardless of who it is after they're finished their 6 man rotation period, any 5 solid starters will do the trick.

As strange as it may seem, Our clear #1 man, Gausman, seems to be the weakest lately.

I am happy to have under estimated Manoah. He looked good. Not as good as when he was his very best last year, but good enough to be a solid contributor in a 5 man rotation.

Out of the current 6, Manoah, Gausman, Berrios, Bassit, and Kikuchi, have earned thier way. It'd be between Alek and Ryu.

I'm really enjoying Joe Siddell on the tv colour commentary these days.
