Likely not at least in the case of the third trooper (at least if he knew children were in the van). The first trooper is certainly in the clear.

That doesn't mean that Mom and teen are going to escape conviction, in fact from the video the book should be thrown at them.

The days that the police are the "good guys" are long gone. He was harassing her She was caught for speeding. Give her a ticket and send her on the way. No need for heavy handed Gestapo like tactics. Maybe for you sheep its a good thing since most don't leave the home. But she is free to do as she pleases without being harassed by white racist goons with a license to kill. She was scared and fled the scene. I would too if they were that aggressive. Good for her son. What a hero.

Uhhh yay.... you notice there is a lot of sound missing in the official tape for no reason that can be explained by the cops. Take a guess what the family are saying. Don't let facts get in your way.

Every single car should have it's own dash cam because if you think the police will show an unedited version- good luck with that son.

The good news is that most people don't share you view, still trusting cops the same they did years ago. Certainly much more than journalists and politicians. and business leaders.

[The Trooper] was harassing her She was caught for speeding. Give her a ticket and send her on the way. No need for heavy handed Gestapo like tactics.
If you have seen the video which is not only above but has been on various television news programs as well, you would see that the first Trooper is perfectly respectful he asks her to wait while he goes back to his cruiser (perfectly standard procedure). The driver then sends everything all to Hell, by deciding to flee the scene, upon her pulling over for the second time, the Trooper again perfectly reasonably attempts to arrest her. The teenage son then decides to get involved in the end assaulting the trooper. The responsibility is entirely with the driver and her son, save for the third and possibly second troopers shooting at the vehicle and it is unclear whether they realized there were children in the van.

1. That's a British poll i.e done in the UK. If you are too dumb to know UK is in Europe and is NOT North America.

2. Closer to home here is the Canadian list:

Profession-by-profession rankings

Profession Trust level Change since 2003

Canadian soldiers 68 per cent +11 per cent

Pharmacists 66 per cent -25 per cent

Doctors 63 per cent -22 per cent

Airline pilots 62 per cent -19 per cent

Teachers 58 per cent -21 per cent

Police officers 55 per cent -18 per cent

Judges 51 per cent N/A

Daycare workers 50 per cent -8 per cent

Accountants 47 per cent -5 per cent

Church leaders 45 per cent N/A

Chiropractors 43 per cent +3 per cent

Plumbers 41 per cent -1 per cent

Financial advisers 40 per cent unchanged

Charity leaders 37 per cent N/A

Auto mechanics 33 per cent unchanged

Journalists 32 per cent +1 per cent

Lawyers 31 per cent +2 per cent

Local politicians 30 per cent +16 per cent

TV/radio personalities 29 per cent -7 per cent

Union leaders 29 per cent N/A

New homebuilders 28 per cent +1 per cent

Environmental activists 28 per cent N/A

CEOs 25 per cent +4 per cent

National politicians 25 per cent +16 per cent

Car salespeople 20 per cent +10 per cent

Police officers rank at 55% and falling.....this is 3 years old. New poll coming in 2014. My guess is police will raked in between black guy hanging around at the corner and used car salesman.

Public Transit Workers: 58%
Police: 57%
Judges: 56%
Therapists: 52%
Academics: 51%
Electricians: 50%

Here is the one you might have been looking for dummy. This is the Canadian one. Notice the steady decline the cops have. Only idiots and shut ins still have that fantasy that cops are good people. That will decline sharply as the truth gets out:

There is a Canadian poll, mentioned in past police G20 thread tha show much the same results but the question was different.

In an EKOS Research poll conducted during the week of Dec. 10-14 and released exclusively to CBC News, 1,740 Canadians were questioned about:

Confidence in local police.
Police performance.
Whether trust levels have decreased.
Whether police respect citizens' rights.
Of those surveyed, 85 per cent said they have a moderate or high level of confidence in police — despite such high-profile controversies related to tight security at the G20 summit in Toronto, fatal stun-gun incidents and the recent video of a violent arrest and strip-search of a woman by Ottawa police.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/public-faith-in-local-police-still-high-ekos-1.931664

This poll was taken just after the G20 when anti police feeling were strong.

That's not the one I was looking for lummox, but even firefighter dropped 7% in that one, it even a older poll. The only occupation that had a substantial rise was the Canadian soldier.

A Readers Digest poll, wow. That was scientific. Some day you'll realize the idea that C&Ps without a link/attribution are next useless. The total number of polls means little, but you'll learn that in time.
