The trouble is that the reviews at the link provided were not flattering.
They have 3 locations (I think). The one on Bathurst has good food and consistently terrible service. It is also too expensive for what you get.
I have been 20+ times. I would go more often if the price suited the product.

Re: La Mexicana.

Forget the reviews. Try it. I'm a regular. It's not quite as good as some places I've been to in Texas and California, but for Toronto, it's pretty good Mexican.

Some of those bad reviews are due to a jilted spouse.

Dos Amigos - Bathurst and Dupont. I used to be a regular at Mariachi's but when they started going downhill I found this place and it's probably as good as it gets in T.O.

There used to be a good one near Pape and Danforth but not sure if it's still there. Anyone know which one i'm talking about?

It was called Plaza Garibaldi and then it became La Cabana. Pretty sure it's still open....it was featured on the show REstaurant Makeover a while back. I used to absoutely love it there but haven't been in ages. It's west of Pape on the Danforth.

El Sol near Danforth and Greenwood is very good, but consider ordering 2 hours before you arrive, the service is awful (slow and chances are you'll get the wrong thing when it finally shows up).

The one in Kensington is "Mexican Salsas" and it's a taco place, pretty good and not expensive. La Tortilleria is also good for tacos (one in Kensington, one on Dufferin at Bloor, and one on St. Clair West).

Milagro is good and relatively upscale, there are a few locations. Dos Amigos is good for queso fundido and a decent brunch, but I think it's overpriced. La Mexicana, I haven't been there for years, for a long time it was being run by Philipinos and the food was pretty bad and expensive.

Best in town is in Kensington Market, a food stall in one of the empanada places, run by a REAL chef named Francisco, it's take-out only and the long line-ups are there for a reason. I shit you not: BEST MEXICAN IN TOWN.

My favourite place is actually a Salvadorean place than serves quasi-Mexi food, but I don't want you all cluttering the place up, it's busy enough as it is!
