Office 2007 is not to be available to Corporate customers till November 30th, and to personal users sometime in the new year, unless you have a copy that you got from a trusted source I would not install it at all, as it may be a unstable beta or worse yet, a hacked up 2003 with nasties to mess with your computer.

I doubt it. If it's already been set up by someone else, their computer will be linked to the key so it probably won't work for you. Unless the software has been cracked.
I really doubt it'll work. MS has really outdone themselves with the security in Vista and, I assume, Office. If it's anything like Vista it'll call home every so often to verify itself.
