Mio DigiWalker C220s map software?

Hey guys, I recently bought a C220s at a CircuitCity pre-Christmas doorcrasher event for $49. It's pre-programmed with an in depth US map system, but not with the Canadian mapping software. I understand the Canadian version of the software has limited US map info but is very good for in Canada...

does anyone know how I can get this software for my C220s? torrents? or possibly copy it from a Canadian retailed C220s? I'm lost. ok, not literally...lol

didn't your GPS come with info telling you how to download new maps? My TomTom wass really clear on how to get new maps, voices, colour schemes etc. It came with a US/Canada map loaded and I upgraded it to the latest version (no cost for first upgrade). It seems to be pretty accurate in both countries.

Out of curiosity I went to the MIO website and found this:

So I guess the answer is no to your question .... for now. No wonder it was so cheap!

I think you'll have to search some GPS forums. I think there's a hacked firmware version that lets you load US maps into a Canadian C220
