Basically, the winning bid for Melania's NFT originally came from one of her wallets. The funds were transferred just before the winning bid...This is something people do to raise the price of an asset, so I assume they did it to give the next NFT sale more of a buzz. Now, this would be illegal with any regulated security, but, well....it's crypto.

This sort of reminds me how Don Jr. had a NYT best seller....which included a small dagger, which they explained as:

Grifters gotta grift. Hopefully they were not campaign funds that were used but then again they may have spent most of the millions raided paying rent to trump properties or paying his legal fees. And then there is the non-existstent charity that Melanie was going to donate too.
