My old monitor recently burned out so I replaced it with a spare monitor we had sitting around (17", LCD).
Whenever I start up the computer, the monitor rapidly flickers on and off in repeatedly - probably about 3-4 times. This is the only time it does it. My old monitor (which was pretty much identical) never did this.
Anyone have any idea what's going on? I thought it might be drivers, but my computer autodetected my old monitor so I would think it would do the same for what's pretty much the same monitor (same size and maker).
