Terb has helped me find some wonderful ladies, but which sites work in Interior BC? Remember that Vancouver and Victoria are on the opposite side of the province -- a two day drive away if you push the pedal.

Think Fernie, Invermere, Cranbrook...

Find a cab driver in town and ask him. Cabbies know all the shit that is going on in the small towns.

How big do you think B.C. is?
The drive from Fernie to Vancouver is about 12 hours (doing the speed limit).

Any girl from one of the small towns there who wants to be an SP will move out to Calgary or Vancouver. Everyone knows every one else's business in those small towns.

If you manage against all odds to dreg an SP up somewhere there's a 90% chance she looks like Rosanne Barr and provides garbage service. Might find someone like that in Nelson, B.C. Pop 9,200.

You'd have to be really tough to be a hooker in the Kootenay's because half your clientele would be complete hosers, pigs, and slobs with vocabularies of maybe 250 words. Most of which are creative variations of swear words.

If you really want to get laid, go to a local noisy honky tonk bar where native Indian girls hang out. They'll fuck you if you buy them a drink; but, chances are you'll pick up an std.
So, my advice is give up. Get a girlfriend over there or form an intimate relationship with your hand.

Your best bet is going to be to look for a sugar baby type relationship, but I wouldn't hold out high hopes for that.

Hitting on the native girls seems like your best bet... but if you do want to find an SP I agree Rosanne Barr is in your future.

Sorry about your loss!

I'll never understand why that guy didn't just try to grab that cat with his hands.

As T.O. tourist states, if it takes 12 hours to get to Vancouver to Fernie, then it certainly is feasible for you to take a day's ride, do some sightseeing in Vancouver and see an SP there -- a nice way to enjoy the weekend or even a day or two off from work.

Actually, rbf, I'm curious as to why you are moving to the Kootenays (you can PM me if you don't want to post your reasons here). I suppose I'm asking because employment opportunities are limited in BC unless you work in logging, mining or ranching (at least as far as my understanding of the economy of the interior of BC).

Probably worried about getting scratched or bitten. I think these animal control people are trained to capture pets with a 'control pole' even if it's just a cat.

The cat obviously didn't like the approach (the control pole)

It looks like he landed on the concrete sidewalk, but he took off like a shot, so he was probably ok. The cat was probably figuring that it had gone from bad (stuck on the top of the pole) to worse (stuck on the top of a pole and now a guy with a noose) and figured it was his only way out.

Even better is Fernie to Calgary, a beautiful drive (and less than 4 hours) thru Crowsnest Pass. Make it a full day trip and stop to tour the Frank Slide and Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump.

Must be a young cat with good flexibility. Think an old cat might be afraid to jump because they tend to land with more of a heavy thud and be more prone to injury.

Aside from perhaps the odd crackwhore there isnt much there.

Your closest hobby destinations are Kelowna to the West and Lethbridge to the East.
Kelowna actually has a decent amount of MP's and escort agencies for a small town: http://beachbunnies.ca/index.php/home

Lethbridge has 1 agency, but they're so stupid they forgot to put a phone# on their site: http://paradiseescortsleth.com/Home_Page_3IX4.html

Things look somewhat ok in Cranbrook BC (Backpage). In fact that young blond looks quite nice, I am almost jealous. That's an hour and one quarter drive according to Google.

I lived in Kelowna for awhile. If you are in pinch there is always lots of street action in the warm months (Leon Street), and there good looking, not like Hastings. That was well before my hobbying years though, so can't tell you from experience.

At any rate your best bet is still Cowtown :p
