Hi Everyone ,
Well what a dilemma i have ,, im getting all my stuff out of Alliston this weekend and bringing it to the city , Now every moving truck company is booked , i dont need the movers i have friends for that im lucky
See the prob is the one company that i found was saying that even though i had credit card , it didnt matter , because it is the driver of the truck that needs to have one ,, which i dont understand as the truck would be in my name anyway ... So do any Terbies know of anyone with a moving truck , like i said no movers needed just the truck

Thanks for any info
Bella*

B: The driver of the truck should be the renter of the vehicle. Most rental companies have it this way for insurance and liability reasons. Why wouldn't you just rent the truck then after you get it home, have whomever you want drive it? they aren't that difficult...really...

Also SMMMMMMMMMMMACK, (that's one for your behind) what's wrong with you girl? The beginning of the month and you didn't make a reservation? Sheesh.....especially back to school time? Damn, you'll be lucky to find anything bigger than a pinto for rent this weekend.......

And have you tried rent-a-wreck?

How soon do you need to know. I could look it up in the morning.

There are places that will rent you not a truck but a container. They drop off the container (truck size box) at place your moving from. A few hours later after your guys fill it up they come back and pick it up. They drive it over to your new place and drop it off. When it's empty you call 'em and they come get their container back.

ABF delivers an empty trailer or ReloCubeTM to your home. You have up to two business days to pack and load your goods. An ABF driver picks up your belongings and drives them to your new home. You have two days to unload. All fuel and transportation charges are included in your moving quote. Since your price is based on the amount of space or number of ReloCubes you use rather than the weight, you will never have to worry about surprise charges due to a reweigh of your household goods. You Pack, We Drive, You Save. It's that simple!">

All the major moving companies offer this service as well. AMJ Campbell, United Movers, etc.
