I was just on a porn site, who's link I got from a thread entitled "Best porn Links" by Nic Frenchy. It was a password sharing website.

Anyhow, I was surfing away quite happily, when a message appeared which stated "Multiple Computer Violation". Apparently, the site detected that the account was being used by two computers simultaneously. The message further stated that the account had been disabled, and that this incident had been logged for review by the System Administrator. (???)

I've never had something like this happen to me; I just visited the site out of curiousity. My question is: Can I get in trouble for this??

I believe that the only person who could get in trouble is the actual owner of the account. That person could get blacklisted from several sites that share information. The most they can do to you is log your IP address which is not as big a deal since many times people don't have static IP addresses

The site that I was on posted account passwords to paysites. I know it is quite common and lots of people take advantage of it, so to speak, I was just wondering about the "legalities" of the whole thing.

Why would the account owner get in trouble though, what if he or she was the victim of a "hack job"?? I don't think users would voluntarily post their account info.

no, you'll merely get locked out of that system.
