In a very dark place
In true "legal" not "justice" system fashion the Toronto beggar that killed the fellow last month gets bail.

Her lawyer says she is a " good kid" from a " caring and supportive family", guess thats why she's begging on the streets in Toronto and killing people with a job.

Fry her, slowly, of course after the trial.

Let her live with that foktard mcsquinty.

here and there
This is why we need more cops like the ones who zapped the fat mouthy black chick. Our justice system is a fucking joke, where's the justice for the victim? If this is a good kid, what's the definition of a bad one?

If other people charged with murder (isn't it manslaughter in this case?) get bail, then I see no reason why this person shouldn't either.

That being said, I would think this particular person is a flight risk so that must have been considered in the decision to allow bail.

As much as I hate panhandlers and vagrants, and as much as I cannot support murder of any kind, I think there's more to this story than, "Panhandler stabs pedestrian."

I've seen people kick panhandlers and spit at them. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the person who got stabbed wasn't entirely innocent of provoking the panhandler. Maybe not, but I wouldn't just assume the panhandler jumped up and stabbed the guy just b/c he wouldn't give them a quarter.

Bail was set at $165 thousand dollars, she must stay at home...

She should flee the country somehow...She's going to get years and years in jail...

DUMB JUDGE TO LET HER OUT OF CUSTODY!

And I've also had panhandlers get all uppity on me like:

"Spare some change?" No., then "Got a cigarette?" No. Then "Well what's that jingling in your pockets?".

It's my keys fuckhead...

No wonder they get kicked and spat on. Parasites.

You really don't want to know
Of course they did, these are the "supportive parents" that seemed to be alright with having her live on the street and beg.

It's funny how they don't report on the fact that most of the panhandling youth on the streets of TO not only come from stable households but money as well. Begging is easier than getting a real job.

Which is why I don't give anyone who appears under the age of 40 and physically healthy shit. Lazy fucks.

Why shouldn't she get bail? It wasn't like she agreed to have sex for money with another consenting adult. All she did, alone or with her friends, was murder a pedestrian.

Of course, it is the victim's fault. He had an intelligence failure. He should have known that there were 4 people capable of murdering him and he should have taken a cab home instead of walking on Toronto's dangerous sidewalks. Why should we blame Kish for the victim's intelligence failure.

what irks me is that she is probably getting legal aid to foot the bill for her legal defence but she has sureties that can pledge $165K for her bail. If she has that kind of money than she would be hiring one of the Greenspans and not her current lawyer.

I saw that too and I like the conditions of her bail:

She has to stay in her home unless accompanied by her mother, father, uncle, or either of 2 aunts.....yeah, that's being really restrictive.....

BTW: I think I read that the others were released as well......

Is there a link to this story? I am not familiar with the matter and would like to read the reports.

It's been good to know ya
Full payment does not have to be paid immediatly.

Premium payments represent the bail bondsman’s fee for securing your release from confinement. This fee is normally restricted by law to a certain percentage of the bail amount. For example, if bail is 10 thousand dollars then the premium fee of ten to fifteen percent would be 1 thousand or 15 hundred dollars. Depending on the charges and the duration of the t5rial, another premium payment may be required. Generally, the premium paid is only valid for one year. The remaining amount of the bail bond is covered by collateral. The premium amount is not refundable, regardless of the disposition of the charges against the accused. The collateral will be released, assuming the court has come to a decision and bail terms were satisfied. If you flee the court, or “jump bail”, the entire premium payment and collateral will be seized by the bonding agency. Paying premium payment to bond agents can save you money and allow you to manage your money instead of paying a cash bond to the court for the entire bail amount. A bail bondsman can provide additional information on premium payments.
