Why is it that people go out of their way to try and destroy Christianity here on TERB and yet no attacks on islam from the same group??

Point #1, the demographic thing has nothing to do with survival of a culture, that's survival of a population. As for the historical thing, before birth control, name meone culture where birth rates ever fell this low?
Point #2, the thing about a rate of 1.3 being "impossible to reverse" is bullshit. It's simply a matter of choice, not biology. Change the decisions through modifying incentives (principally a political decision) and trust me, the rates will change. What fucking horseshit!

You mean to say that within 10 years, if the incentives changed to make having more than 2.1 children desireable it couldn't happen in 10 years. BULLSHIT! Especially when it's simply a matter of the choices made by women (primarily) about the number of children to have? WTF is this guy smoking?
Point #4 The thing about the number of children and grandchildren is correct so far as it goes, which isn't as far as suggested. After all, it isn't the case that EVERYONE is only having 1 child. Not even in Japan. Granted Signapore with it's less than 1 child per woman birth rate may be fucked (especially with such a small population), but for larger countries with larger #'s of women of childbearing age, if they all had 4 or so (say like in pre-awakening Quebec) shit can change real fucking fast now can't it? In my view, we atheist secular types should be concerned that the Christians don't get too concerned about the Muslims lest the Christian crazies you fear don't go do something fucking stupid like take the presidency, invade another Muslim and nuke the place. There are a myriad of reasons to be concerned. Plus, if Muslims do become the numerical majority, I would be concerned about a democratic vote to instill Sharia law.
