She should serve the sentence. She wanted to destroy the cop's life even if he didn't do anything wrong. He live in an open face society if these people don't like it they should go back home.

Old news from 2011. I guess that is fine if there
is an agenda to serve.
Public needed to be reminded ..plus the public have a very short term memory! So posting this video should is appropriate and plus I never ever seen these video at all before. I not surprise how the muslim with burqa or niqab use reversed discrimination on cop. All left wing pinkos liberal kooks should watch this video. I am so sick of the political correct left wing pinkos double standard!

Old news or not, I've never seen this and PornAddict is right, this needs to be brought to people's attention.

It never crossed my mind, but a police officer + woman wearing a burqa + asking for a breathalyzer? A very interesting mix.

What? Some bitch tried to get out of a ticket by making an accusation? Yep. Huge news story. Never happened before.

Incredibly, her sleazy lawyer actually tried to weasel her out of it by claiming she could be anyone under that niqab — she got off easy

...and THIS is why it's a problem and not just a simple accusation to get out of a ticket.
Screw this religious freedom shit in instances like this. Driving is a privilege, not a right - someone needs to give her and others like her the memo.
Don't like it? Take the bus and wear your burqa.

Otherwise, we all should start wrapping our heads in towels and beautifully decorated textiles and do illegal shit, then claim it was someone else.

2 things. This case reinforces that cameras protect not just the public but the police themselves.

But more importantly, despite my position on religious freedom I definitely feel it should have its limits. In this dangerous world, authorities need to be able verify identities to protect society.

Btw, the thread title is ridiculous. She didn't use sharia law on the cop. The OP obviously has an axe to grind that sort of kills any credibility he might have.

Fascinating to see these lunatics in their devil wear flopping around in daylight as though taken right out of some fiendishly dark comic strip...as the OP's have said thanks for the post I had not viewed it before either.

One Muslim woman on the other side of the world acted crazy four years ago -- let's all get together and hate some Muslims!

BTW, with a surname like "Matthews" my guess is she is one of those loons who converted and not someone who grew up Muslim.

I don't hate Muslim and don't preach against them. I just oppose the wearing of face cover.

Thats right. When driving they have to show their face when asked to verify their identity- thats the law

It shows why cameras are important but thats it. This really has nothing to with wearing niqab

While I don't oppose the wearing of the niqab most of the time, when it comes to identifying a person for issuing a ticket, driver licence, passport, or approve citizenship (swearing in ceremony excepted), they must remove them momentarily for that sole purpose.

What is the significance of this? Some bitch tried a scam and got caught. Are you suggesting that only burqa wearing women would dare to pull something like this? Are you informing all the cops on the board to be careful when they pull over a woman in Muslim clothing? Besides a continued diatribe about Muslims, what practical purpose could posting this serve?

p.s. If a male cop pulled over a veiled woman who declined to remove it in front of an unknown man, he could have just got on the radio and got a woman cop in.

Another reason why all innocent people benefit from dash cams and cams of all sorts. The cam saved this innocent officer's career. Everybody should be in favor of cams.
