Which mutual funds do you own? more specifically foreign: International, Global, European, Japanese and other Asia Pacific funds. Your feedback is appreciated.

Had some Asia emerging markets funds, they were hot till the Asian contasion, still got our head above water on them, but at one time they tripled in value. Most others are held domestically, cause of the foreign content limit, which is gone now.Got a few labour sponsured ones that are ok,got in early and with the money back tripled the value in about 10 years, but it is sure hard now.Best one was buying 2500 shares of nortel for 67 cents and bailing at 10 bucks or so,wish I had bought 10,000 shares, but very happy the way it turned out anyways.

Bought a Japanese fund about 5 years ago and it's been down ever since. Just looked into some foreign growth funds, found that European equity funds seemed to be having the best growth over the past 5 years, so I bought some AGF. I had wanted India or Asia excl-Japan, but the European funds seemed to be better performers. The funny thing is, of the dozen or so funds in my portfolio, the best performers over the past 10 years have been the Canadian funds!!
