Last week i happen to visit Negril, Jamaica on a work cum pleasure trip to attend a event! I had heard a lot about fun & Folic in Negril, Jamaica, but actually it was a total disaster. Our Jamacian Sponsors who had taken monies to provide us a 4/5 star facilities provided us a 2-star Resort hotel viz Sea Wind Resort, which is unfortunately owned by a Canadian from Montreal! The event also took place at the same hotel resort, but its facilities were totally not acceptable, the rooms were shabby, and all their services were totally poor and not worth for the money we all paid, the promoter or sponsor ripped us all & made a good time profit, and scam all of us!
The beach with white sand is excellent, but the native people of Negril, or whole of Jamaica are very poor and not trust worthy at all, most of the men just sell drugs on the beaches or even at their shags, and all just want to cheat the foreigners. $ 1 worth item is sold to foreigners for $ 25 all in U.S. Currency. The food standards and cleanliness at the Sea Wind Resort was pretty poor too. On the hobby side i was pretty disappointed, the ladies which you see on the beach of Negril are not worth even touching for free
they are dark and ugly as coal, plus most of them speak spanish, and not much english either, i would not even touch them for free if offered, in slang term i used to call them the Jerk Chicken Girls of Negril!Except event and work, i did not enjoy much the local hospitality at all in Negril, i would not advise anyone to go and spend their hard earn money on a vacation in Negril, Jamaica as even their Montego Bay Airport is also 1.20 minutes drive from Negril, and its transportation is also costly hotel asking US $ 50 one way in an old model car or a Toyota Van, at night there are bugs and mosquitoes to suck the foreigners blood, and during morning hours the local natives are a total pest and dishonest people all over Negril, Jamaica, on our return i heard that our sponsor, promoter was also arrested by local authorities for scamming us high time! I just enjoyed the company of our own group and other people who had come to attend the this event in Negril, Jamaica from Nov 08, ~Nov 15, 2010. Their local Jamacian Jammin Breakfast was also a total shit not worth the price at all!
