I had Nero 6 on my computer. I installed the Nero 7 30 day trial version. I don't really like it. For some reason it wont allow me to burn more that one copy of a dvd. I went to Nero (a week later) they replied. See below

Download the Nero 7 CleanTool using the following link:
ftp://ftp9.nero.com/attach/General-CleanTool_7.zip
Save this file to your Desktop.
Unzip the CleanTool with WinZip or WinRar and double-click on the .exe file.
Reboot your system when the CleanTool has finished.
The Registry will have been cleaned and all Nero entries removed.

After this process has been completed, download and install the latest Nero 6
version from our website using the following link:
http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/nero-up.php

Enter your Nero 6 serial number to make your Nero into a permanent version. (The
download without a serial number is a trial version only).


Where do I get the serial number? Could I also go to add remove, take Nero out all together. Then go to my recovery disc and re-install? When I opened it there were 2 files, setup.exe and setupx.exe. Would I install both? Or should I wait till the 30 day trial ends and see what happens? Sorry for so many questions. I appreciate your help!

Was this an OEM version of Nero you had before upgrading to the trial?

Thanks Papi, I had Nero 6.6.0.15H. I think what you are suggesting is to down load what is on the link, 6.6.0.8, also the key generator didn't work. I have to be careful, there are some versions of 6 that don't allow you to burn wmv files. Or are u suggesting I use those serial numbers? When I downloaded the trial version on Nero 7, I was able to go into my computer and get my serial number. Since the update, it is no longer there. Please let me know. Thanks.
