New Google Browser - Chrome

I don't like it - keeps track of where I have been and you have to wipe it manually - could not find setting for it not to keep or wipe auto when closed. It is faster but too stripped down - will stick with Firefox until it is improved

Also, the version of Webkit it is built on is vunerable to the Safari Carpetbombing flaw
oh yes, the security flaw that Mac users deny the existence of...

people have to remember that when they are trying out a Beta issue of a software, that it is exactly that. It is clearly explained in the EULA. makes me wonder if people skip reading the contracts..?

Chrome is a powerful package... In fact, I like it much better than the Safari platform it's based on. Though, it is not as technically sophisticated as Mozilla FireFox and can't do consolidated searches of your sites such as ebay, amazon or craigslist like how FF can.

a scary thing, though is that I can go into a password protected website after NOT having chrome remember my pw and it will suggest a username and pw... my guess is that it 'steals' it from my other browsers... but, still what if I am not me? it still does this even if I disable my IE and FF browsers, so this is a flaw that needs to be patched. also, I can sign up multiple accounts on forums (such as terb?) that ban multiple accounts under same ip addresses with unique handles... could be fun to exploit, but I won't bother.

also, scroll down works but not the upwards page scroll...

true. NOT a good idea to use Chrome on a shared computer.
I have it installed on one laptop that never leaves the house.
