I'm expecting to be in New Orleans for a few days next month.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of SC, SP and MP activity?

Last time (several years ago) I was there, got heavily ripped off in Bourbon Street SCs; e.g. VIPs rooms with heavy fees and the pretext of action that was not forthcoming (sounds like most places in the States!).

Have things changed? Don't mind travelling out of town if the action (i.e. mileage) is better.

BANGKOK SPA on Iberville was the only MP I could find last time I was there (about a year ago). A number of the others seem to have shut down. Its on side street parallel to Canal, essentially right behind the Marriott on Canal, probably 2 or 3 blocks from Bourbon. Its pretty busy, being so close to the major hotels, but its a complete dive, compared to even the worst AMP in Toronto. Middle-aged, tought looking asian woman, nice body but lousy attitude. $60 USD at the door, 10 minutes of the most half-hearted "massage" on record, followed by the menu for extras. $60 requested for HJ. Forget it. There used to be a bunch of places on Chef Menteur highway. May or may not be still there. I say, save your $CDN for toronto, you'll get a much better deal, and a whole lot safer.

Now that you mention it, I recall the Bangkok Spa behind the Marriott. I agree it's a complete dive, but had a good time with a Thai babe that I saw a couple of times. Can't remember the rate, but got FS.
