Ted Williams hit 29 Home Runs in his final season, a record which stood for 25 years. Since then, five other players have hit 29 or more homers in their last Big League season.

a) The current record holder is a member of the Hall of Fame who was released in the off season after six seasons with his first Major League team.

b) Number two on the list hit a career-high 35 HRs in his last season. His brother is an active Major Leaguer and is a former Rookie of the Year.

maurice93 correctly identified Kyle Seager.

c) Number three on the list hit 29 or more Home Runs in a season for four different teams. He had 30 or more HRs in each of his last three seasons.

maurice93 correctly identified Dave Kingman.

d) Number four on the list, tied with Williams at 29, played for Team USA in the Olympic Games.

e) Number five, also with 29, is nominally a former Toronto Blue Jay. He was traded to Toronto and traded from Toronto in one four day span during a January.

Name as many as you can.

Three to go.

Three Stumps.
a) I believe is David Ortiz

Hi @onomatopoeia , I'm having a guilty conscience. Tim Lincecum was a legitimate answer. Then I realized that Lincecum never played for the Mets. I admit that I looked up Tyler Rogers name, and I found out he had a twin brother who was traded on the same day. I apologize for cheating in the game. My other two answers, Dave McKay and David Popkins, I really did know.

Twin brothers, both relievers, both traded on same day

Auston Matthews won the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year after the 2016-17 season. He was the first Maple Leaf to win the award since the Original Six.

Three Maple Leafs won the Calder during the 1960s.

a) The first is a member of the Hall of Fame, and his Maple Leafs' number is retired. He was born in Noranda, Quebec.

b) The second was the first defenseman to win the award. He played in more than half of the Leafs' games each regular season for five consecutive seasons, but his name appears on the Stanley Cup only once, because he was assigned to Rochester for the AHL playoffs in two of the Leafs' Cup winning seasons.

c) The third played for Toronto in both the NHL and the WHA. He had two separate stints as a Maple Leaf, and played for the Philadelphia Flyers in between them.

Name as many as you can.
a) Easy one. Davey Keon.
b) All the ones I can think of were older. Guess is Jim Dorey.
c) Mike "Shakey" Walton.

Name as many as you can.

a) Dave Keon is Correct!

b) Nope.

Jim Dorey did not play in the NHL during the Original Six era. You in particular should have gotten this one.

c) Nope.

Mike Walton had great numbers in his first full NHL season, (1967-68), but he was no longer a rookie, as he had played 6 games for the Leafs in 1965-66 and 31 games in 1966-67. He also never played for the Philadelphia Flyers, and he didn't play for Toronto in the WHA, (Minnesota Fighting Saints).

Walton was a two-time Rookie of the Year, in the CPHL, (1965), and the AHL, (1966).

a) Easy one. Davey Keon.
b) All the ones I can think of were older. Guess is Jim Dorey.
c) Mike "Shakey" Walton.

Nope.

Berube was previously the coach of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2013-14 and 2014-15.

This was inspired by a tweet I just saw.

What is the most career penalty minutes by an actual hockey player who never got credited with playing an NHL game statistically? What was the circumstance? (Don't need the name - just the minutes amount and circumstance behind this statistical anomaly).
