LOL!I would have justified the cost by saying I'll be using the system for years (even though I know I won't).
That was my justification.
I wanted a system that wouldn't be totally obsolete in a few years....

^^^^the larger power supply future proofs the system for additional upgrades.
i have never had an Asus MB fail on me. I did have a bad experience with MSI though. i tried one once and it failed right out of the box. they refused to replace it saying it was my fault.Ok, revisiting motherboards...
I was talking today to the chap who is gonna assemble my system and he says, the top three motherboard suppliers, in his experience, are ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI.
He said ASUS has terrible after sales support and Gigabyte is only marginally better. He says that since MSI is right here in Ontario Canada he gives it an edge over the other two.
So, I'm gonna go back and look at the MSI motherboards.
When you make a solid product, after sales support isn't exactly a deal breaker....

I'm not gonna have that much crammed into the case... it will be fine...Yes the case might be tight but then Danolo is limited in space which limits the number of cases he can choose from ..... there really isn't many in this size that has decent cooling options.
