New police chief identified himself as part of the 'morality police' during 90s and 2000s bathhouse crackdowns.

I am sure he will start cracking down on sex services once he is reigned in december 19th.

Any thoughts?

I doubt it. Selling sex services isn't illegal.

Purchasing sex services is illegal and can lead to jail time. Also, advertising others for sex services is also illegal. Meaning Police can crackdown on Spas and agencies knowingly selling sex services.

The law was left in a grey area on purpose so that Law Enforcement CAN..if they want..crack down on a lot of the sex industry.

Some usage of the term "reigned in" with which we were previously unfamiliar?

Any idea what agency this chief frequents? At least you know they will be safe. Everyone has a vice, keeping it private is the challenge.
Back in the day I met some SP's who actually name names. Very interesting.

LOL! Names of politicians, athletes, public figures, etc. You are in good company. I am no longer in the game because I'm a one woman man now.

In a place far, far away
I'm surprised nobody has complained about term "chief".

1) because of it's native american undertone
2)it implies a man can only have the job

lol...

Regarding the June 21 National Digest item “Duluth seeks removal of ‘chief’ from job titles”:
Duluth, Minn., Mayor Emily Larson is misguided in trying to remove the word “chief” from city job titles. There is no reason to believe that this word was ever intended to mean anything other than its definition: “a leader or ruler of a people or clan.” There is simply nothing offensive or marginalizing about the word. Its use goes back as far as around 1300, when in Old French, it meant pretty much the same thing as it does now.

In the early 1700s, the word’s use was extended to include the leaders of Native American tribes. If Ms. Larson still feels the term is inherently offensive, she’d better start thinking of alternatives for the lead cooks of restaurants. Mayor of the kitchen? Leader of the culinary team? Because if she translates the word “chief” from English to French, she will find that it is “chef,” the modern French version of Old French “chief.”

Is it just me or does he look like the last guy? Saunders was the only one that stood out, all the rest of these old white guys look the same.
