Wish I'd thought to do this last week, but what do you think will happen this weekend?
I'm saying Colts beat Steelers, Pats over Broncos, Redskins to upset Seahawks and Bears edge out Panthers.

With spreads i am taking Pitt +9.5, Carolina +3, Wash +9.5, New England +3. Went 3-1 ATS last week. Outright winners i picked New England and Carolina.

Word of caution; teams with the bye week @ home in the playoffs usally covers. I don,t know what the exact percentage is, but it,s high. Add to the
fact the wildcard team is on the road again (as 3 teams are) and it,s very difficult to get that "emotional" edge going. Having said that, If one team
can do it, it,s NE. So experienced this time of the year. Otherwise I like
Seattle, Chicago, Indy all to cover..

Hadn't thought about until i just read comments from Mike Ditka, but '06 will be the 20 year anniversary of the Bears versus Patriots Super Bowl. He believes history will repeat itself. He even jokes about a Bears 46-10 victory, just like '86 but the only way i see Da Bears scoring 46 points is if you combine the totals of their offensive output in the three games they would play. Personally, I see Bears versus Colts.
As for spread -- and I too went 3-1 in the opening week ATS -- I'm going heavy on the 'dogs: Patriots & 'Skins to win outright, and the Panthers to lose in a low-scoring 16-14 slugfest. The Colts are my only favourite ATS.

Patriots will lose sat night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah but I,m not sold on the Broncos. Very good season but now is the
test. First the defending champs to beat, then if you win that all likelyhood
you,ll go to your "house of horrors" the last 2 playoff years. Good Luck.
Jake Plummer will have to play even better than he has all year just to have
a chance to win @ Indy.

I am not concerned going to Indy..........i would like it but dont expect a win, however i would be happy with a win sat against pats, that would be a great accompishment for us..........

Maybe we can get super lucky if steelers beat indy, and we win the steelers come to DENVER for AFC championship game....

I was four for four last week...This week I like: the Panthers over the Bears, the Seahawks over the Redskins, the Colts over the Steelers and then and boy is this game soooo hardddddddd to pick but I'll take the Broncos over the Patriots because its in Denver...but chances are I go 3/4 for this week on those choices....Surprised you guys like the Bears over the Panthers...I think the Panthers are going to embarass the Bears just like they did to the Giants last week...

I was 1-3 on my picks last week but only had bets on 3 of them. Obviously the only game I was right on was the one I didn't actually place a bet.

In light of that I'm sure everyone will follow my lead when I say I'm taking all the favs this week.

I was 3-1 last week (didn`t foresee the Giants disaster)

Steelers over Colts: I don`t think Indy is still the powerhouse they were from Sept-Nov while the Steelers have been peaking at the right time. Granted I`m a Steeler fan so I`m biased, but last week I bet with my heart instead of my head and it worked. Maybe Marvin Harrison will take a swing at Tony Dungy at halftime to ruin the Colts composure.

Patriots over Broncos: IMO, these are the two best teams in the NFL right now and the winner here will win the Super Bowl. Tough to bet against Denver anytime, but tougher to take them against Belichek in the playoffs.

Panthers over Bears: Last week all 4 games had a QB with playoff experience against a QB without playoff experience. The team with the QB with playoff experience won all 4 games. Not a good omen for Grossman. The Bears D will come up strong as always, but it won`t be enough. This game will likely be 10-7 or 14-9 or something like that.

Redskins over Seahawks: That`s against the spread, Seattle will win the game straight up.

Is Sunday ever gonna get here? I have been chomping at the bit all week waiting on DA BEARS game. If Carolina puts more than 14 on the board i will be very suprised . I say DA BEARS 24 Pink Panthers 10. Da BEARS have only given up 60 some points at home this year with the Bengals getting a little more than third of them. LETS GO BEARS. :D Soldier Field will be rocking come Sunday.

Dr. Scenicdrive's Picks

1. The Seahawks will egg the Redskins to victory.
2. The Patriots will ride the Broncos in Mile High.
3. The Panthers will chew up the Bears in the battle of two beasts.
4. The Colts will take the Steelers for a ride.

May the better teams win.

Broncos i think may have this one, Patriots pumpkin is expired ... god i hope... Go Broncos Go :)
Redskins over the Seahawks (Seahawks always fall when their not suppose to, Don't under estimate Joe Gibbs)
Bears all the way no contest!
Colts and Steelers Tough one, but Colts I think (this will be a great game to watch if Roethlisberger can stay in the game)...

Yes, the Patriots uncharacteristically self destructed. They did not play like what a champion should be. Their fault!!! Too bad!!! :(

Turnovers are part and parcel of the game. Denver came to win and forced NE into a corner and came out on top
