Chelios' former property is over $15,000 per square foot and contains two separate buildings.

Chelios bought the house in 2001 for $5.25 million, per Zillow.

I'd say that's going to be a nice profit for him...Wonder where he is off too...Not a great trade by the Habs back in the day either.

When he bought the property in 2001 did it have the 2nd house on it? The primary house isn't that big, its shy of 4,000 square feet.
No doubt its a beautiful property with beachfront but $60 million is a crazy price for that. 12 times what he paid for it 25 years ago.
