NHL training camps open!

It is finally that time again-NHL training camps open!
Any predictions for the upcoming year?(other than the habs going all the way of course!)

Rick Nash will struggle much the same way Joe Thorton did coming out of junior.

Anton Volchenkov of the Ottawa Senators will win Calder Trophy (Rookie of the year).

Th San Jose Sharks will get past the second round of the Western Conf. playoffs.

Jeff Farkas will be this year's Steve Sullivan, and have a breakout season. Once again proving the Leafs dont know how to develop talent.

Ilya Kovalchuk and Dany Heatly will continue to set the league on fire.

The New York Islanders will be better than last year.

Jeff Farkas will be this year's Steve Sullivan, and have a breakout season. Once again proving the Leafs dont know how to develop talent.

Sorry Rusty, can't see it happening................he might be this year's Steve Kariya though.
Admittedly, I'm not exactly thrilled with the Leafs inactivity this summer but the Farkas situation was a lateral move at the very least. I'm not losing too much sleep over it. Jeff Farkas is more likely going to be this year's Brandon Convery. Remember him?
That's okay...............neither does Brian Burke.
Jeff Farkas shouldn't worry about it though. He'll be a star in the Swiss league in a couple of years. Not exactly a bad gig either. Lots of wholesome blue eyed blonde girls..............and great chocolate too.
