Its a good console for kids, but if your an adult stick with PS/XBox or PC.
Whynot? Smoke a joint and play some 2K late at night with some buddies online, its great!
I am close to senior citizen age but prefer the simpler games with simpler controls and that's why i will purchase a Switch2. When i watch my son play call of duty on his Xbox i get dizzy and can't manage a million control combinations.
I grew up with arcade games Asteriod, Space Invaders, Centipede, Moon Patrol, Pacman...and Defender. Simpler times, simpler games, basic graphics but fun.
Its a powerful console for its size and portability, eventually Nintendo fans will have to buy one to play the exclusive games. I decided not to buy one until more games come out and possibly other special editions. I'm aiming at buying one next year as an Oled version probably won't be available for 3 more years or so. I don't think it was ever intended to compete with a pc or ps5 or xbox or even steam deck, nintendo always been sort of its own thing and its a great family console, still lots of fun as an adult.
