North American Women

I had a conversation with a friend recently regarding North American women. Basically, it boiled down to this: would we be better off with women from E. Europe or S. America than with North American women? I'm talking longterm relationship (i.e. marriage).

For whatever reason, I find many NA women to be somewhat "spoiled" with a sense of entitlement. I also find E. Euro women know how to be sexy better than N. American women (who seem to get sexy confused with "Look at me - I'm a slut!").

Thoughts?

The beauty of an import is the charm of the exotic. I found that my tastes for women of different ethnicities is greatly dampened by those actually born here.

Ok i have given thiis topic alot of tought over the last few years but didnt dare bring it up here since the large crowd with torches and pitch forks will gather outside my house.

Having lived and travelled extensively in Eastern Europe I can share some of my thoughts on it, although I dont think its a good idea to make general sweeping statements about any group of people, I believe definitely there are certain characterstics that can be said about a culture. Now let me start digging my hole on this board by saying as a single guy I have pretty much vowed never to marry a North American woman. I lived in Russia for over a year and let me tell you, Russian women are better at dressing and acting more feminine, you would never see a woman in Moscow wearing track pants unless she was at the gym. The expectations of a Russian woman are lower than those of woman from the US or Canada, having come from a economically backward situation she is grateful if her husband owns a townhouse and drives an Escort only.

Another thing is that radical feminism has not reached Eastern Europe, you mention feminism to them and you get a response of disgust where they were told they were liberated to work oh but also had to have a family and take care of the children. ok ok enough ranting and raving I would add more about how I find E. European more warm and less of the me me me attitude of N. american gals but hey i caused enough problems here

I would only marry a woman from Europe. In fact, if I do decide to settle down, marry and start a family. I will be moving from Canada to Europe.

I would I agree with Scouser1, Quirt and Red. But here is a twister.
If SA/EE come here after they are 25, they may become americanize or stay who they really are. This is a tough call guys. Some would marry just to be here. But assuming they marry you for love and stay the way they are , femmine and yadid yaa. Here is what may happen.

Communication would be hard. The slang of the way we say things and what they mean would be hard for them to understand. They would have to be patient.

This will clarify everything.
A manager of mechanical design company would say to an engineer in Australia
"Are you sure this would work?"
the australian would say no, then throw it out.

The manager got transfer to Britian and said the same thing.
The brit would say: " how do you think it may work?"

Then he got transfer to U,S. He said the same thing.
The american went back to his desk and tried to figure out what was wrong.

As for the canadian. " show me how I can fix it or improve on it, or why won't it work"

So the moral of the story is you have to train your wife to understand what others are saying. And how things work around here.

I have to go along with most posters,woman from other countries are much more beautiful and alot kinder.Alot of them would be more willing to be more pleasant and less controlling.Also they are more modest and humble even though they are beautiful and sexy. I think you guys are "regressing" in terms of recognizing the equality of women.

It does seem very much that some of you enjoy posessing the tradiational, obedient type of women who'd bring you your slippers etc. etc.

Personally, I would rather be with a women, not posesses her, and see her as an equal. Now, if you are into domination/power play, that's a different story.

Have to agree with you . Most of these guys sound like they want at "Stepford " wife . Sad IMHO

I am not so sure about this love of Eastern Euros.

Being half Russian background myself (from 1920's or so) I find most eastern euros (Russian, Romanian, Ukes, Hungarians, poles) to be quite mercenary. They seem more interested in your money (only) than their N. American counterparts. Russians seem to think that in every business transaction, there is a fox and a fool. You are one or the other. The western notion of a fair exchange of goods and services for a fair price just doens't seem to exist. I am also generalizing i am sure, and let the flames begin, but i find a lot of eastern euros (today) to be quite lazy and expecting the gravy train and the easy way out. This contrasting to the eastern euro wave of the 60's that busted their asses working hard. (For example, you will find a lot of Croatians, poles, serbs, etc. who came to canada in the 60's and were tradesmen who only knew one thing - work, work hard, and do a good job.)

I am not so sure i would be running after any eastern euro. Buy hey, never say never.

I always thought that Canadian women are better than American women. I think that there are differences in women within North America.
