just a question for you guys. does anyone know how many hoops you need to jump through in order to leagally obtain medical marijuana? I'm not suffering from cancer or anything like that, but i do find the odd puff helps with the tension headaches i get from time to time.

though canadian society's attitudes are becoming more permissive toward the 'wacky tabacky' it's still relatively underground and i hate having to beat the bushes every time i need to replenish my supply.

i'd be greatful for any input.

All you need to do is have your doctor prescribe it, assuming you can get him to do that, isnt it normally for terminal ill patients, use to hear you could get it for severe glaucoma as well (that was always my hope, my eyes are pretty bad, I smoke a little weed and everything is clearier). There are places across ontario to fill your subscriptions, even saw a web site that ships medical MJ, you must provide the supplier with your prescription of course.

Medical MJ is tough to come by, those that have it guard it well, its very high in THC (has to be 13% for medical use).

I don't know how much they are charging for their Medical, but their regular weed is outrageously priced, recently paid $500 CND per ounce there (Grade B not A), thats more than double what I pay in Canada (for Grade A).

You can obtain medical marijuana on the black market, it is just very pricey. Two years ago it was going for $400/oz when a friend of mine picked up a 1/2lb of it. It is very very good herb, but I have had other pot that could parallel it at a cheaper price.

thanks for the info, guys. i'll check into it. i don't really have chronic pain or a terminal illness (thank god), so it might be a little schetchy to ask my doctor. i guess i'll stick to the usual channels for now. it's just too bad that there isn't a more retail-type environment for this stuff.

Regular weed isn't helping with your pain? Perhaps you just need a higher quality, there really isnt much difference with medical weed except they controll the THC contents and try to ensure maximum pain relief. You can find great weed out there that not medical and you can find some better than medical.
