So I guess the wonderful arab spring is over and Muslims have decided that Christians in Egypt have to go.

Yeah radical Islam will never take hold in Egypt.

where have you been the last some odd 30 years?, this has been happening long before Mubarak was overthrown. And some Egyptians Christians I know even suspect that the government had a hand in the violence back then, and elements of the former Mubarak regime who are pissed off at losing their power and goodies are trying to sow trouble between the 2 communities.

A friend of mine is a Coptic Christian who left Egypt a few years ago. He had a successful dental practice with two locations and his wife was a University professor. He also has three teenage children. He said that he had no peace of mind there and he and his family were constantly called infidels. He now owns and operates a smoke shop in Toronto. As you can see his family left behind a fairly affluent lifestyle for some peace of mind.
