If you stay away from Leolist and Asian websites you're pretty much avoiding all the fakes but I'm not familiar with kijiji.
VIPFavors is a legit advertising site as are most non Asian websites.

They are generally quite pricey (some charge over 400-500 an hour!), but yes, they are very reputable and you surely won't have to deal with flakes and amateurs.
