Old CRT Computer Monitors

Our office has about 15 of them just sitting there collecting dust and they are the big 20" ones.
The previous time we had to pay a company to safely dispose of them.
Wait until environment day in your area and drop it off then.

doing graphics work is best on good old CRT's especially the higher end stuff such as NEC.
I fucking hate working with graphics on more modern monitors...bitch to calibrate...and say I have a 100x100 web image, I can move it around the screen and it looks different wherever I drop it...lame...no viewing angle bullshit on CRT, no funky or dead pixel or column issues either *grumble*

lol so true.
The only thing I hate about them is the space they take up and how they eat away and your electricity bill.
SkyRider, just save yourself the headache, go to a dump and let them recycle it - doing yourself a favor by not wasting time trying to get $15 out of it and doing the environment some good.
hiya Cobster, no shit...many of the monitors I used were nearly 3feet deep & 75lbs+
however, another thing I will miss, is how they made the room nice & toasty during winter
There are a few recycling centers that you can drop them off at as well..
