Arrest made in west-end shooting

A couple in their 80s have been taken into Toronto Police custody after a shooting in the city's west end Thursday morning.
Toronto Police tactical unit officers have surrounded a house on Boon Ave, after a man was shot in the shoulder.
The man, in his early 50s, was shot just after 9 a.m. in the home, south of Rogers Rd. near Dufferin St.
The gunman barricaded himself in the home, police said.
An elderly couple was taken into custody just before noon, police said.
There is no word yet on any charges.
The victim's injuries are described as not being life-threatening. He has been taken to Sunnybrook hospital for treatment.
School bus driver Harvey Cameron said he saw two older men shooting at each other as he drove by.
"These old folks would be so crazy to be shooting at each other (during) the early morning," he said.
Cameron said he drove his empty bus up Boon as the two men squared off.
He said he thought it was a movie until one of the men was hit by a bullet.
The victim ran into a back yard while the older man ran into a neighbouring home.
"I wasn't so scared, but the officers seemed to very scared," Cameron said.
