Like the title to this thread suggests, I have a bunch of old time magazines but don't like the idea of throwing them out.

Does anyone know if a school or library, etc... accepts such items. I would drive anywhere in the GTA to "donate" them rather than throw them away.::confused:

Ebay

How about Ebay?

People buy all kinds of stuff and collectors routinely scour Ebay.

They get their thing, you get some money out of it.

You may also want to try selling your stuff on Amazon.

I sold about half of my old college textbooks on Amazaon; I was amazed at how many people actually wanted to buy the old things.

I would save those with covers depicting epic events and frame them

What titles

What mags are we talking here?

Old stuff like Mad Magazine that is no longer published?

Or old Time, Life, and National Geographic?

I had a banker box full of old National Geographic a few years ago. When I was moving I decided not to take them. So I just put the whole box outside on the sidewalk. They were all gone with-in two hours.

If you have Mad Magazine... just happens one of my house mates and I were talking a couple nights ago and reflecting back... memories of Spy vs. Spy. Loved it. I would love to get a few copies to share with my buddy for a few laughs.
