One of the Best

Over the last little while I have had the opportunity to watch one of the best one on one interviewer since David Frost, Fareed Zakaria. His show GPS, has got to show one of the masters of one on one with emphasis on the international political and economic theatre of events.

If he has an agenda, other than to inform and make people think, I haven't seen it yet. is list of guests are the creme de la creme nd he handles them in an exemplary manner. they never feel chaffed and while talk about things that.

He also handles the job of moderator very well for others to work through in debates and is not afraid to take wear the other hat and be interviewed by whomever and defend his comments. Billy O', you could learn something.

No, Americans love having the piss scared out of them from either side.MSNBC or FOX.Honest,open, debate based on fact doesn't really work for these folks.

I kid of course.There is a section on both sides of the debate that will listen to reason but alot of them seem to like the "I'm right and your wrong..so fuck you!!!"style debate.Please watch the "EVEN STEVEN" debates on "The Daily show" for more of this.

FAREED ZAKARIA is a wonderfully produced show in the vein of Charlie Rose,Meet the Press(With Tim Russert)",or The HOUR.It's a shame there's not more honest,fact based debate of this kind.

PBS on Sunday mornings for many years. Miss him since I don't have cable. BTW Barbara Walters is at least as good as Frost was.

Frost still is. He's got a great show on Al Jazeera, yes, at this time only available to those with special antennae OR the internet. For those of you who remember CBC in better days, Avi Lewis is also on AJ.
