Wouldn't a thread be visible to anyone? The only restriction would be that the "ignore" would mean that they could not contact you.

I only have one person on my ignore list..... happened so long ago I can't even remember why he got onto the list. I could find threads including his posts if I do an advanced search using his name but to read his specific posts I guess I'd have to take him off the ignore list. Looks like it doesn't matter though because he hasn't posted in a few months.
