I'm bored tonight and just started watching a show on OLN called Operation Repo. It's hilarious. They go and repo all these cars/trucks and gets interesting when people come out with baseball bats, swearing and altercations. lol. It's like watching Dog the Bounty Hunter but looking for cars. They've also got a big mouthy blond woman with tats who is similar to Beth Chapman. What a crazy and dangerous business. I hope they are compensated well.

I think some of them get a trill out of the job too.

Like stealing a car but not breaking any laws but still having to "get away with it".

I feel more sorry for those losing their cars. No car means no driving to work the next day, how are they ever going to pay off their bills if they can not drive to work. Yeah yeah, they might had blownl their car payment cash on beer and pussy, lol.

A friend of mine had his motorcycle repo'd way back.

The Repo company CALLED him on the phone to tell him they were there to Repo his bike. They asked him to come down and give them the keys to the bike so that they could take it away. He thinks, "how fucking dumb is that that they called him".

He races down the stairs to the garage to find 4 very large guys standing by the truck with his bike tied up in the back of it. The one guy just says, "we've already got your bike, we just want the keys, what, did you think that we were going to wait outside for you?"

He handed them the keys.

It's usually after 5-6 months of non-paymnet, I don't think they would take it after only a month or two...do they think they will get away with it forever.

Dead beats who don't pay their bills or buy more than they can afford have it coming to them, yet me living in "getto" Michigan, lol have seen some pretty sad stuff. Like good people buying a home for $350,000 five years ago and paying all their bills on time and having to move and selling their home for $200,000 and be stuck in debit.

Notice how the movie Repo Man part two isn't in movie theaters anytime soon, ha ha

People who get their vehicles repossessed deserve what they get. Mostly they are people who can't afford the vehicle in the first place but manage to get financing. What they fail to realize is that they don't OWN THE VEHICLE! It is owned by the finance company or bank or whatever. You are basically renting-to-own and you have to make your payments. If you don't you lose it. I have no sympathy for people who get their stuff repossessed.

Yes exactly, I was a loyal watcher until I read that the show is all fake, all actors, based on alleged true stories but real repo people work at night, so there is rarely a confrontation.

On this show they were going after people who hadn't paid for 8 months. So either the show is bullshit as someone else said or unless the person was hiding the car/truck, why on earth would a financing company wait that long to repo a vehicle? I would have thought it would have 2 months without making payments. No?
