Parking Near Residence Inn Downtown (255 Wellington St W)

Hello:

I have some friends visiting the city this weeked (Arriving Thurs-leaving Sunday) and they are staying at the Residence Inn Downtown (255 Wellington St W). I don't know the area that well, and they are concerned about parking. They would prefer to park off -site, but nearby. Any suggestions on a good lot or underground location? Doesn't require in/out priveleges as they will walk/use transit when here but price is an issue. Thanks for the help!

There is a good lot at blue jays way and Wellington, about a block away from your hotel I think. Pretty decent flat rates around $10-15 depending on the time. If you continue west on Wellington before Spadina, the right side of the street has parking which is free after 9pm (before the gas station). During the day, it has that "free for 1 hour between 8-6" sign.

There is another lot a little further west by the northwest corner of Spadina and front. After 6pm I think it's $8 flat rate or something of the sort. Also one by the northeast corner of spadina and front, advertises as being parking for MTCC, Ripley's, CN Tower, etc so I'm not sure how great prices are.

You may want to go to Google Maps and enter 255 Wellington St. W. Then click on "search nearby" and enter parking. The map will show you parking lots in the area. If you click on each lot it should have a phone # for you to call for prices.

This is a good site that shows you pretty much every lot including Green P lots.
