Parties - a minor rant

Hi all. It seems that TERB parties are sprouting up everywhere. I think that's cool, but please when you post a party, include details as to the location!

For the remainder of Feb it looks like there are 2 confirmed parties with the possibility of a third. And none of the announcements gave directions! There were just general announcements that the party will take place on a certain date at a certain strip club called ______.

I don't think I'm the only person here who doesn't know where every single strip club is located. So please, when you post a party, include the address and the phone number and the website if they have one. That way the rest of us can get directions easily.

If anyone would like to add a post to this thread confirming parties that are actually going ahead and where it would certainly be appreciated. Also, what is generally to be found at a TERB party? I haven't been to one yet and am wondering if I should book that evening off to attend or not?

General Party Agenda

It is more the opinion of the guys as to attendance from the ladies that I was looking for Goober. Is this a boy's night out? What generally happens at these parties? Should I be interested in attending to meet some of you face to face and expect to have a few laughs or is the estrogen presence not particularly welcomed?

The best TERB parties generally seem to be those that have a good mix of people - male & female. The more the merrier!

Now this is the kind of thread that makes a girl glad to come to her computer, but I still don't know where the party is.

Speaking of which

I'm sitting outside the ice rink at Nathan Phillips Square waiting to join a date at the hotel. I'm watching all the happy families skating around and around, when a very familiar man skates by with his two daughters. I felt like a deer in the headlights. Which business did I know him through? From one I could obviously say hello and introduce myself to his wife. From the other, obviously not. I chose to take the middle road and see if he let on that he knew me. He didn't, which I think tells me the circumstances under which we met.

To top it all off, he was pointing out the Bay street tower that he works in to his kids.

I guess because the markets are all down, the Bay street boys have too much time on their hands. So I'll just keep on praying for a recession. It just might make me rich.
