Given the growing concern over the protection of our rights, here are two articles discussing the new digital photos for our Canadian passports and how they are not going to be shared with the US (currently) and how the CCRA information is shared.

You might be surprised about what sort of information is already being shared. You already have a digital photo on file that is shared (your driver's license).
