It's been discussed before, but I've noticed it more often recently so I had to get it off my chest. Ladies, why do you penalize those of us who enjoy longer sessions? My typical session length is 2 hours. If your rate is $300 for 1 hour, why is it $650 or more for 2 hours? This makes it seem like you don't enjoy longer sessions, which means you're not for me. If that's the intended purpose...well done! Otherwise, maybe reconsider your pricing?

Cus i havent seen it ..unless it was a BP...lady who cant grasp the concept of longer the visit/less per hour the fee....ofcourse it could be a case of them not grasping simple math

I actually bumped down my 2 hours for this reason. I think it makes more sense and I also prefer longer sessions .. so my 1 hour is still 350, but 2 hour is 600 now. Someone else had advised me to make it 700. it seemed weird to me.

I won't call out the most recent example that I saw, but she has an ad on terb. I doubt that it's a problem with her math skills

It's could be one of many things

1. She could be really bad at math and not know how to multiple her 1 hour rate X 2
2. She is really bad at business and does not understand of providing an incentive for her clients to book longer sessions
3. She copied and pasted from another ad that had the same mistake which happens a lot with French Canadian Indies (why they wouldn't proof read what they are posting is beyond me)
4. The SP thinks her time is actually more valuable for longer sessions (which does not make any sense as sessions are a lot easier when longer)

There's a number of typo's in her ad too. Should I PM her and point them out? Maybe. Then again, at those rates, I expect better, seeing it as a sign and just move on.

It may be that some women find a two-hour session more demanding. Perhaps not more so than two one-hour sessions back to back (though possibly even then), but still more so than two one-hour sessions with plenty of time to recharge between them, and most of the cases I’ve seen with price lists like this don’t look like they are trying to maximize the amount of clients-hours they work per day, and it may be that they would rather have a day with two one hour sessions with an hour or two between them than a two hour session.

Part of the job is staying ‘in character’, and for some people (certainly not all) that can get harder and harder as the clock keeps ticking.

On the other hand, it may be that they find the second hour more demanding because for most guys, each ‘shot on goal’ takes more ‘work’ to get off, and for some guys, it’s the woman who’s going to be doing most of that work. (Which may be why many also stipulate that if you are having a 3+ hour session, at least some of it is going to have to be spent outside the bedroom.)

These two considerations pull in different ways, but either one on its own might make someone want to bump the two hour price a bit.

To be honest, I think that scenario is much more the exception than the standard pricing.

What I find really dumb, and it is exactly what you are saying, when the pricing may be $160 for a half, $250 for an hour and then $410 for 1.5 hours. The only reason that a half hour is charged at a premium is because of the increased inconvenience of a short appointment when the prep and cleanup and prep for the next client are factored in compared to an hour booking. Absolutely none of those factors come into play when comparing an hour vs. an hour and a half. As you say, it is a disincentive to booking a longer session. To be honest, I think whoever is setting the pricing is either too lazy or too mathematically challenged (other less flattering terms would not be inappropriate) to multiply the hourly rate times 1.5.

I've ranted about this previously yet it still seems to be a very common, and totally ridiculous policy and waaay more frequent than the inequity that you pointed out.

When I first started, I didn't enjoy longer sessions. I liked the guys that were in and out quickly. Some people just want to get off and get out. As I got older I appreciated the guys that wanted to stick around and be pampered. I enjoy getting to know people and talking with them and building a friendship style relationship. I offer great deals for an hour because I enjoy being a companion more. I think that the girls that do pricing like this think that it is all sex. It's more than that though. No one can go for 2 hours. There's the odd one with incredible stamina, but for the most part longer sessions are about chatting and being friendly and taking your time. When I was younger though I did the same thing. I dreaded having to do more than a 30- 45 minute session. I used to charge more to deter people from wanting an hr or more.

To me, it's one of three things:

- Bad math skills
- Typo. Meant to type $550/2 hrs
- Little mileage. The first "tease" hr has hardly anything happening. It's expected to be some kind of long chat fest, where hour two is where the action begins. Sort of like a strip joint. Songs 1 and 2 might not anything special. But from song 3 and on is where the magic really happens

Here we have a new lady advertising on this board and all people can do is to continue to pile on. She is not new to the industry at all and also advertises elsewhere.

After seeing her post last weekend I actually had the pleasure of meeting Lana early last week and I left very satisfied! I haven't had an opportunity to write a review yet. However let me say in our initial communication she did offer a variety of beverages that I could choose which I found very classy and not the typical norm.I booked for the hour and let me just say this I didnt get thru my first sip then some great DFK and we were in the bed. Given that this is not a review let me just say Lana is a spit fire in the bedroom! She put a hell of a lot into our session that much is for sure.

Not to mention she does have a very sexy British accent!

Treat the her nicely boys and you will be rewarded.

Not sure how anyone can take an SPS rate to offense? It's their perogative, nor does it make sense to insinuate that an SP is "punishing" the client. If the 2 hour is more than you can budget, save up! Longer appointments are always welcome but definitely involve more emotional labour, and speaking for myself typically MSOG (more work). Does seem like bad math though in the end!

Nobody is bashing her personally or her service or that her fees are unreasonably high. Somebody was merely pointing out an illogical peculiarity in her pricing structure to which she already admitted was an error.

Go find some other windmill to attack. Sheesh, some of you guys.

Similar head-scratcher at this MP:

Cheaper to have a 1/2 hour session then go back to lobby and start another, than to book 1 hour. And 1/2 hour duo session seems to have a $30 surcharge. I don't get it.

Considering that the 30 & 40 minute duo sessions are the same price, I doubt that anyone opts for the hh
