The best listeners will always get the information they need to know and go from there.
In a relationship, most probably, they will tell you what you need to know.
And only then can you decide if its worth pursuing, as in sales.

I did the retard door to door sales thing for fun and experience
I lasted two weeks
my advice is do it for a week
you will hate it but experience is a good teacher
what I learned is how gullible some people are and how horny some lonely women are and how much I hate sales
I was invited in once by a teen GND type who was looking for fun - her body language and open blouse with breast exposed made it obvious - it was tempting but I thought with my big head instead of my little one, like WTF if her parents came back ! (she said they were out)
Another time a single mother insisted on giving me her phone number while displaying her tongue then bending over and looking back and smiling ( just like a good stripper does) but her kids were there so a quickie on the spot was a no go
so that is one potential penthouse experience per week while doing the total retard thing of door to door sales
as a long distance truck driver I have had similar experiences and so did my associates (as long as you were not a slob as many truck drivers are)
there are lonely women out there who just want some anonymous safe sex and to be treated nice by a decent looking guy , but I much prefer a MP to such a random encounter that could easily end up unsatisfying or a lot worse (use your imagination)

The only salespeople who knock on my door are cute 20 year old East Indian women. They always tell me they need the commission for university tuition. No, I do not invite them inside for tea. What would the neighbors think? (For some strange reason their employer thinks 20 year old females make better sales rep than 20 year old 6'3" hairy dudes.)
