I've had a few occasions where I've seen some fairly suspicious moles on clients...black, scary-looking, irregularly-shaped...essentially moles that I'd have my ass to the doctor about in a flash if I ever noticed something like that on me. I've not said anything to a client before, but I wonder if other ladies have had this, and would they say anything, say at the end of the session?

Obviously a huge mood killer, but at the same time, maybe there's a bigger issue at stake, no? And of course, I'm not a doctor, so is it any of my business to maybe scare the crap out of someone when maybe it's nothing? I had my own doctor mention the 'C' word to me - turned out to be nothing - but it was really scary.

What do other ladies think, and what about you guys...would you want the heads-up? Or would that be wildly inappropriate?

As a guy, (not that it particularly matters in this instance) if it is a place that I can't see particularly well such as the back - absolutely. Not at the beginning of the session I agree, but certainly at the end as one talks and it can be said in a pleasant way.

It would make for a rather funny youtube video to tell him in the middle of a BJ.

Slurp slurp slurp, <head up> oh by the way, you have a nasty mole on your back, I'd get it checked for cancer, <head down> slurp slurp slurp.

Definitely tell him about it. He may have already had it checked out. Or maybe not. If its big, black and mean looking, no need to be so descriptive. Just tell him it looks a little bit different from a normal mole and to get it checked to be on the safe side.

I would want you to tell me. Just a note though; big, black and mean looking does not describe a typical malignant mole.

If it was me, I would appreciate the observation and your concern. By the way, there are some excellent sites on the Net which describe and show pictures of "good" and "bad" moles. However, if any mole looks odd, a visit to a doctor is in certainly in order.
