According to police, Owen Wilson, the actor from "The Wedding Crashers" and a few others tried to commit suicide over the weekend.

Don't know what could be bugging him. He makes millions of dollars a year and he's in a really easy job, movie actor.

Well, hope he pulls himself together anyway, although I've got a feeling he's done a lot of damage to his career with this incident.

No it doesnt but it sure does alleviate a lot of stresses.

Regular people have problems too...AND money problems on top of that. At least guys like him dont have to worry about money (whcih is a biggie)

if you suffer from clinical depression[a chemical imbalance in the brain] it wont matter if you have Bill Gates,s $ or Hugh Hefners women....you will still suffer from depression....having said that ..most people in that position dont necessarily try to commit suicide

Give the guy a break. We as the public don't know the real reason why he tried to commit suicide, and probably will never know. Most likely the media will make up things so we can just buy and read their publications. With being in the public eye all the time, and trying to have a private personal life, I'm sure it brings allot of stress on a person.

I have seen Owen Wilson in interviews. Unlike some of his peers, he is a nice guy. What drives a person to suicide? Who knows. Hopefully the guy is okay.

ET last night showed Owen in a "laid back" state, he was incoherent and babbling and 2 weeks later checked in for heroin addiction. They think he was back on the junk when he tried to kill himself.

I think the press needs to show some respect if a guy is depressed and tries to kill himself just backoff and let the story come out when he's ready. The amount of attention that I saw on TV made it seem like he was the Pope or something. However, I guess it did help to bring to light the topic of depression which may help some people.

He's a hot guy and a movie star, loaded with millions of dollars. On screen at least, he got to hang out/make out with Carmen Electra and Amy Smart (threesome), Kate Hudson, etc.

Even with all that money, he can go clubbing every night of the week, and come home with a different woman for free, no SPs required.

Why he can't take a look at us regular folks, and see how good he has it, is beyond me.
