I understand the ban against self promotion, unless a paid advertiser.

But what if a member is part of an agency that is a paid advertiser. Should the courtesy of having her promote herself and the agency extend to her?

Well Let's say i work for a global firm sells widgets............Should I use my membership here to promote the firm????? Or should I as a courtesy use my knowledge of widget to help others?

My opinion? No, the agency has paid the fee to advertise via it's handle. Should someone working for that agency wish to also do some advertising under a different handle they should have to pay the fee as well.

However I'm not the owner of the board so it doesn't really matter what I think
