Seriously, this asinine injection of political correctness, kowtowing to every politically correct theme and genre in sports is over the top.

STOP IT NOW, it is silly.

Everyone is wearing helmets with meaningless slogans.

"Love"

"Stop Hate"

Why not just say "Stop Everything Bad"?

" Men wearing pink football shoes to support breast cancer - the most OVER FUNDED medical condition on the planet.

I'd like them to support "Sex Addiction in White Men"

We don't have NHL Bhuddhist night do we?

We don't have NBA Atheist night night do we?

What about MLB anti-vaxxine night, or the Toronto Rock Flat Earth Society support night?

Or Curling Coprophilia week?

What about international chess society supporting the Armenian Genocide Society?

I watch sports to - er.. watch sports.

Fuck off with all this other shit.

I personally dont mind here in our country.

But a lot of these morons were doing that in Qatar during the Football world cup.

I mean dont go to another country and lecture them about what is morally correct. You dont have to like it but you have to accept it.

Shut up and play the game, you know what I mean ? :ROFLMAO:

I demand a Sikh night where all the players wear turbans instead of helmets.

First tell me, being a Sikh why do you hate India? Is it because of Khalistan?

Did you support the Sikhs who tore down the Indian flag at their mission in the UK?

Everyone is an activist now.

Half the population has their identity wrapped in some sort of social activism against whatever "evil" is out there. It can be climate change, anti-racism, feminism. Every waking minute and interaction is seen through a lens of the oppressed and oppressor.

This is all they discuss and know. They have no idea how to just enjoy a day without finding reasons to be a victim or superficially "fighting" against the politically correct "enemy" of the day by wearing clothes with the latest social slogan on it.

Today all the rage is trans activism. If you're not having sex with men wearing drag claiming to be women and referring to a dude as "them", you're transphobic.

All the great social battles have been fought and won, and we live in so much comfort and luxury that activists have to invent problems that don't even exist.

It's like people are trying to find purpose to fill their emptiness. A coping mechanism for whatever mental illness they're suffering from.

Activists don't invent problems, they will get behind any slogan they see on MSM or hear from our politicians.

It's almost as if by design all these problems happen one after another to keep us occupied.

Yet we are continuously loosing money to inflation, higher and higher taxes and high interest rates.

Once the NHL or any league start having a special night for one group of people then it begs the question why not for other groups as well.

I'm not actually Sikh. I first heard of Sikhs from Canadian veterans who served in the British Army and was impressed by the stories of Sikh valour.

Sikhism is actually a spinoff of Hinduism and they united to fight off the Islamic invaders.

I know there is tension between Hindus and Sikhs (Golden Temple, Air India, etc.) and Sikh quest for their own homeland.

Wasn't aware of that and don't know the context so can't comment.

Activism has become the favorite pastime of Americans and Canadians. The preoccupation with finding something intrinsically and systemically wrong with society has become a sport. It's not done from genuine concern but rather for the sake of entertainment, chatter, branding, and virtue signaling. The more "problems" you can find, the more stripes you get.

Most of these activists are compensating for something they lack internally and the most keen are doing it for financial gain. If you're a good person, you don't feel compelled to try and prove it to everyone. If you're a happy person, you don't make every day an egg hunt on finding structural problems in society to vent about, or find offense in benign interactions.

Modern 'activists' (using the term loosely) are incapable of enjoying the fruits of life, and may be suffering from a combination of paranoia, low self-esteem, anxiety, or other untreated mental illnesses. The ones treating it as a game instead of self-therapy are even cashing in on it.

What actually is wrong with being kind?

If those helmets carried slogans saying "Beat up the fat, gay, Asian kid!", wouldn't that be the real problem?

If you're gonna preach kindness you had better practice it.
And when was the last time you were kind towards anyone right-wing, or a Trump supporter?!

Some of the biggest haters on this site are left-wingers.
And then to top it all off you demand kindness from us.
The irony mixed with hypocrisy is RICH!! :ROFLMAO:

Seems like some are insinuating that only certain folks should get involve with any ideas, agendas, or pastimes that they appreciate / promote and take to social media.
An example, we Terb users have no issues regarding our pastime and clearly like to share opinions herein.

So we all need to try and act like big boys and allow others that right, and don’t try to put them down while falsely elevating ourselves as the gatekeepers of what is best for society, or your culture.

Read where someone wrote that “Any culture is an experiment”

And almost everyone I've talked to is getting sick of it.
Pro sports leagues need to stop mixing politics with sports
Well, I think athletes and sports organizations can dabble a bit into politics. They are not robots.

But when it comes to Pride, it's morphed into something different than when it first started.

I don't fault some players being skeptical or straight refuse.

Don't worry. He hates more than just Indians.

He also doesn't like that there are so many black players in the NBA, as my quote of his in my tag line demonstrates.

Money, money and more money, that's what this is all about. BLM shook down the American corporate world for BILLIONS- no one knows the precise number, but the estimates run from 20 to 80 BILLIONS. And that's just the BLM. Dig deep enough and you'll find the grift and the grifters screwing and blackmailing whomever they can. They make Jessie Jackson and AL Sharpton look like farmer market fundraisers. Climate, race, and now even gender are all but vehicles to collect.
