I haven't dated in 7 years and I'm under 30, but I would think I'm also an outlier because I've been working and living on my own for a long time. Most people my age don't have their own house, car, credit cards and student loans paid off. My situation is unique. Unless you're born rich, you can't have it all. Something has to give. For me, it's the time to go out and have fun that is sacrificed. I'm a slave to work - work that benefits me materially and provides me with conveniences (like affording SP services). I had the option of doing what most people do but I decided to do something different, to carve out my own path. I have no regrets thus far.
But yeah, I feel what you're saying about the average person under 30. They should probably be out their getting it on their own volition. But maybe they have their reasons too.
