I believe emails, texts and Twitter should be the most common way, but tell me how you communicate with a provider.
I am especially interested in knowing if people are using Snapchat, Instagram, Telegram or the DM of Leolist/Lyla

For agencies i used to try a call but often it turned into text.

for indy twitter became my main message platform.

since 2020 leolist and any other platform like that is an absolute no go.

Communication is a bit of a crapshoot. Some providers say dont connect by this means only that means. Others are the opposite. And still others have no problem with any method. If you use the wrong method, you risk getting blocked. Seems like control issues to me.

I don't have a lot of experience (only 2 SP so far) but text app worked really great. Only few crickets, probably because I contacted these fine ladies almost two weeks in advance (newbie mistake I assume 😂)

Thats true. Mostly, I use direct texting. But some want you to fill out the booking form on their website, if they have one.

If you’re booking one of the higher end providers I’d say it’s better to get in touch in advance otherwise you run the risk of them not being available on shorter notice. I haven’t had any issues getting in touch in advance. And the anticipation can be pretty exciting when you’re booking a lady you have had on your to do list for a little while.

Having worked in communications for 10+ yrs I can definitely understand from the providers end why using their preferred method of communication is better.
Using multiple methods can get messy, you miss more messages or even end up double booking. your client. If you think it’s a control issue, I don’t know what to say… I’d prefer them to be on top of managing their communication efficiently so I don’t miss out or get double booked.

Fair enough, but if a provider doesnt want you to text, then why put a number? Or not to DM then why open DM?

Why not just follow the initial request and use their preferred method?
lol don’t ask me. I don’t have all the answers. I just follow whatever the instructions are as best I can.

Don’t get me wrong, I can understand the frustration, especially if you’re looking for a quick fix. Maybe I’m too patient, but I’m also very meticulous in who I communicate with and decide to spend my money on. And I think this is why I’ve had many good experiences and very few bad ones.

If I contact someone via DM and they redirect me to their email or booking form, then I just do that. If I text (which I don’t, I prefer email) and get redirected to email or website… then I use their email/website.

If I’m really interested in seeing that provider then I put in the leg work and follow their directions.
If you get held up by a simple redirect to a different method and then get frustrated by it… maybe they aren’t the provider for you.

To play devils advocate though, leaving DMs open isn’t a signal for you to DM them, they may want these open to easily communicate with other providers or regular clients.

To answer the actual poll question:

I prefer email, it’s more discrete and I’m not worried about a provider calling or texting while I’m at work or with family.
If a provider has a booking form I use that first. Then continue via email typically.

Tried text apps in the past when I first started seeing SPs but ran into issues with messages not always getting delivered or just SPs not accepting text apps.

I’ve only used DMs (Twitter/x) if the lady didn’t have a website or clear instructions on how to get in touch. And only really DM the ladies I see regularly if they are ok with chatting in between bookings. Otherwise I just email them to set up our next rendezvous.
